How to volunteer
We would love to have your help. Volunteering for the Deer Valley High School Band is a fun and rewarding experience. You get to work along side a great group of people and get to watch our kids learn, grow, and enjoy all that band has to offer.
Volunteers must first go through a training session and fingerprinting through the Deer Valley Unified School District.
Where To Start
If you have already taken the course “Parents as Partners Basic Training for Volunteers” through the Deer Valley Unified School District at some point in your child’s education, skip ahead to the “Once You’ve Taken the Training” section below.
If you have not already taken the training course, you may do so at any DVUSD school. Click one of the following links for training opportunities listed by date or by school.
Training sessions will be listed by school or by date.
You should see a document that has 2 pages that lists the upcoming training course offerings, sorted either by location or by date.
You do not need to sign up for the training course; just show up at one of the offerings.
Once You Have Taken the Training
One you have taken the district’s training course, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on the Contact page. We will arrange for your fingerprinting through the district office. When you’ve been told that you can be fingerprinted, contact the DVUSD office to schedule a time to be fingerprinted. The DVUSD office phone number is 623-445-5000.
